"The FBI raided the home of a whistleblower who was in possession of documents regarding the Clinton Foundation and Uranium One, according to the whistleblower’s lawyer, Michael Socarras.
The whistleblower, Dennis Nathan Cain, had turned the documents over to the Department of Justice’s inspector general and both the House and Senate Intelligence committees, according to the lawyer.
The FBI rummaged through Cain’s home for six hours, even after the whistleblower handed over the documents, according to Socarras.
FBI agents raided the home of a recognized Department of Justice whistleblower who privately delivered documents pertaining to the Clinton Foundation and Uranium One to a government watchdog, according to the whistleblower’s attorney.
The Justice Department’s inspector general was informed that the documents show that federal officials failed to investigate potential criminal activity regarding former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the Clinton Foundation and Rosatom, the Russian company that purchased Uranium One, a document reviewed by The Daily Caller News Foundation alleges.
The delivered documents also show that then-FBI Director Robert Mueller failed to investigate allegations of criminal misconduct pertaining to Rosatom and to other Russian government entities attached to Uranium One, the document reviewed by TheDCNF alleges. Mueller is now the special counsel investigating whether the Trump campaign colluded with Russia during the 2016 election."
As I said before - Trump couldn't get a flea arrested in that town.
As for Hillary being protected by the FBI and DoJ, that's now an old, well documented story. They have to protect her to protect Barry. If she ever were charged, she'd sing like a bird about him... and everyone else. Right now, Barry's collecting millions on his, "Man, was I great President or what?" tour. Kinda hard to do from behind bars.
Which is just part of why hiring the do-nothing Sleepy Jeff Sessions was such a galactic mis-step for Trump.
No matter what you do, you'll never ride away from you.
Two things - one, Trump had almost 2 years with Sessions to use all the "devastating" info they have on them. Not sure what can be more devastating then the already known facts - in other words, there's already plenty to go after Hillary on, but not so much as a hint of in indictment, all while Mueller's witch hunt rampages.
2nd, the new guy is interim, already been attacked by dems for being a Trump Nazi, and hasn't been confirmed by the senate judiciary committee.
Trump hasn't said a peep as to permanent replacement, 'cause what's the rush?
No matter what you do, you'll never ride away from you.
"Grassley Demands Answers From Wray Over Raid Of Whistleblower On Clinton Foundation
In the wake of a bombshell Daily Caller News Foundation investigative report late last week, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley demanded answers from FBI Director Christopher Wray about a Nov. 19 bureau raid on the home of a recognized whistleblower.
The whistleblower, Dennis Cain, who was once employed by an FBI contractor, reportedly turned over documents to the Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz regarding the bureau’s failure to investigate potential criminal activity regarding former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the Clinton Foundation and the Russian company that purchased Uranium One.
Cain told the special agent leading the raid that he was protected as a whistleblower, but the agent still ordered 15 additional agents to raid Cain’s home, according to Socarras. The agents searched for six hours while Cain, terrified, sat in the living room.
Grassley further asked Wray if the FBI was “aware at the time of the raid that Mr. Cain had made what appeared to be lawful disclosures to the Inspector General? If so, was the FBI aware that these disclosures were passed to the House and Senate Intelligence Committees, per the [act]?”
Grassley also asked Wray of “the basis” for there raid and to provide a copy of the original warrant and all supporting documents.
The FBI did not respond to a request for comment. The IG declined to comment."
And the blowback from operation protect gin soaked witch has amped up:
"Whistleblower Advocates, Attorneys Condemn FBI Raid On Clinton Foundation Whistleblower
Whistleblower advocates across the political spectrum condemned an FBI raid on the home of a recognized whistleblower who reported potential wrongdoing surrounding the Clinton Foundation, the Uranium One deal and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
The Daily Caller News Foundation, in a bombshell report, detailed how 16 FBI agents raided the home of Dennis Cain, a former employee of an FBI contractor, on Nov. 19. They rummaged through his home for six hours even though he told them that Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz awarded him whistleblower status, according to Cain’s lawyer, Michael Socarras.
Horowitz instructed a top aide to personally hand-carry the documents to the House and Senate intelligence committees over the summer after he received them from Cain, Socarras said. (EXCLUSIVE: FBI Raids Home Of Whistleblower On Clinton Foundation, Lawyer Says)
Everyone TheDCNF interviewed said the raid should never have occurred. They said it appeared Cain followed the rules in accordance to the Intelligence Community Whistleblower Protection Act, which protects federal whistleblowers from retaliation.
“I really do question the need for this raid at all,” said Nick Schwellenbach, the investigations director for the Project on Government Oversight, a nonpartisan watchdog group that frequently works with whistleblowers. “On its face it doesn’t seem like it was necessary.”
The Clintons have the magical ability to turn everything they touch into shit... something their protectors should have long ago recognized. Of course, seeing how it's cool to commit treason in Washington, they know with near certainty that there will be no real consequences.
"DOJ Wants To Keep Justification For Raiding Reported Clinton Foundation Whistleblower Secret
The Department of Justice is requesting that the justification of an FBI raid on a reportedly recognized whistleblower’s home remain secret, according to a letter from U.S. Attorney Robert Robert Hur.
The documents could potentially reveal whether the bureau and the magistrate who signed the court order allowing the raid, Stephanie A. Gallagher, knew that the subject was, according to his lawyer, a recognized whistleblower.
Sixteen FBI agents raided Dennis Cain’s Union Bridge, Maryland, home on Nov. 19 for six hours, even though Cain told them that he was a recognized whistleblower and handed classified documents over to the agents."
See what busting a treasonous, drunken, fool will do? Get 16 armed men with badges kicking in your door.
I guess that's how this country works now - everything the government does remains a secret, along with two tiers of justice. Isn't being a banana republic grand?
